GBOD Hospitality Group will celebrate Drinksgiving, the night before Thanksgiving known for revelry, with featured offerings at each of its Gaslamp Quarter venues, Mezé Greek Fusion, El Chingon, Havana 1920 and Prohibition, on Wednesday, Nov. 27.

Mezé Greek Fusion:
‘Yamas’ to Drinksgiving! Mezé Greek Fusion, located at 345 Sixth Ave., will get guests in the spirit of the holiday with the spirits of Greece, offering $5 well cocktails, draft beers and glasses of house wine throughout the evening. The full drink menu, featuring an assortment of craft cocktails, Greek wines, local drafts and bottled beers, will also be available.

El Chingon:
El Chingon, located at 560 Fifth Ave., will throw a fiesta the night before the Thanksgiving feast with specially-priced margaritas from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. The “Bad Ass Mexican” restaurant and bar will offer its signature prickly pear margaritas, made with Blanco tequila, lime, orange, orange liqueur, and prickly pear, for $5 each.

Havana 1920:
Havana 1920, located at 548 Fifth Ave., will guarantee guests are “Havana” good time on Drinksgiving by offering its Don Q Daiquiris for $5 each from 11 a.m. to 1 a.m. The signature cocktail is made with Don Q rum, fresh lime juice and fresh sugar cane juice. From 10 to 11 p.m., diners may enjoy a daiquiri and Cubano sandwich combination for $12. Havana 1920’s award-winning Cubano sandwiches are made with slices of slow-roasted pork, ham, Swiss cheese, pickles and mustard on Cuban bread.

Prohibition:
Prohibition, located at 548 5 th Ave., will celebrate Drinksgiving like it’s the 1920s with $5 Old Fashioned cocktails and $5 house lagers from 8 to 9 p.m. and live music all night. The popular underground speakeasy’s signature Old Fashioned cocktail is made with rye whiskey, house-made demerara sugar, R&D Bitters Aromatic #7 and R&D Bitters Cherry Apple. Local musicians, Lafayette Blues Band, will kick off the holiday weekend with their Wednesday Blues Jam with live performances throughout the evening.
