GBOD Hospitality Group COVID-19 Preparedness Plan

Dear Friends,

We know there is a lot of fear around COVID-19 and uncertainty about the next few weeks. We would like to assure you that our restaurants already follow very strict guidelines for cleanliness. However, we have instilled further protocols and measures to keep every GBOD location as safe an environment as possible.

We want to see all of our wonderful guests but understand you may feel more comfortable staying in at this time. That’s why anyone who places a take out order through Meze  Greek Fusion, Havana 1920 or El Chingon can enjoy 30% off that order. This applies to call in and pick up take out orders only.

This a going to be a different time for local businesses. GBOD and our staff are so grateful for your continued support. Stay healthy, stay happy and if you can, come take a break from the uncertainty in a place that makes you feel like you are at home.

Our guests can be assured that we at GBOD Hospitality Group we are taking every precaution to do our part to stop community spread of COVID-19 and maintain the health and safety of our guests, employees, and public. We are closely monitoring recommendations from the CDC in order to keep our community safe.

Here’s what we are doing:

1. Additional preventative disinfecting and sanitizing. In addition to our regular cleaning and sanitation schedule, more frequent disinfecting of door handles, check presenters, chairs and tables, restrooms, and other communal surfaces has been implemented using disinfectant solutions proven effective and recommended by the CDC.

2. Staff training. As a part of required Food Handler certification, all staff is trained in cleaning, sanitizing and disinfecting protocols. These standards have been reviewed with all employees with emphasis on handwashing and disinfecting as laid out by the CDC.

3. Healthy Employees. Our staff is being closely monitored for any cold- or flu-like symptoms and will (as always) not be permitted to work if ill or presenting ill.

4. Help us help you. For the safety of our community, if you are feeling under the weather, please stay home. While we do not wish to be inhospitable, we may kindly ask guests who present cold or flu-like symptoms to leave.

Thanks to the diligent action of our employees and the science-backed advice of public health entities, we are confidently open for business. Our management team will continue to monitor updates and recommendations in order to ensure the safety of our friends, staff, families and community.

Thank you for your patience and understanding.
