GBOD Hospitality Group will celebrate Valentine’s Day with prix fixe dinner menus and beverages at three of its five Gaslamp Quarter bar and restaurant locations – Monkey King, Mezé Greek Fusion and Havana 1920
–exclusively on Thursday, Feb. 14.

Monkey King:
Monkey King, the Southeast Asian-inspired restaurant located in the Gaslamp Quarter at 467 5 th Ave., will set the mood for romance with a three-course dinner and sake for Valentine’s Day. The celebratory menu, priced at $80 per couple, will include a bottle of sake to share; miso soup to start; followed by a M.K. Roll, made with spicy tuna, crab, avocado, cream cheese, spicy mayo and eel sauce and flash-fried in light tempura batter. The entrée course includes a choice between M.K. chicken, lightly-breaded chicken served with orange sauce and oranges; Mongolian beef served with scallions, white onions, leeks and sweet dark sauce; miso-glazed salmon served with bok choy and crispy fried carrots; or pad thai, rice noodles with egg, carrots, bean sprouts, green onions, peanuts and lime.

Mezé Greek Fusion:
Experience the romance of the Greek Isles with a Valentine’s Day dinner and wine at Mezé Greek Fusion, located in the Gaslamp Quarter at 345 6 th Ave. The Valentine’s Day menu, priced at $80 per couple, will include a bottle of house wine to share followed by a trio of cold meze to share: cilantro jalapeño hummus, tzatziki and baba ghanoush, made with grilled eggplant, tahini, garlic and lemon juice; served with warm pita bread. For entrée selections, guests will have a choice between Gyro, slow-roasted and marinated beef and lamb topped with onions, tomatoes and tzatziki, served with pita; chicken souvlaki, grilled Greek kabob served with basmati rice, sautéed vegetables and tzatziki; falafel plate, chickpea croquets with mixed greens, tomato, red onion, tahini, pickled turnips, hummus and pita bread; or lamb shank, traditional lamb shank marinated in Greek spices, topped with tomato-garlic sauce and served with a side of asparagus and mashed potatoes.

Havana 1920:
Say, ‘te amo mucho’ at Havana 1920. Located at 548 5th Ave. in the Gaslamp Quarter, the intimate restaurant and lounge will offer a three-course dinner priced at $80 for couples. The meal will start with a shared cocktail followed by a sampling of bocaditos: plantain chips, ham croquettes, picadillo-stuffed potato, cheese-stuffed potato and vegetarian turnover. Couples will share a salad with fresh greens, followed by the main course with a choice between ropa vieja, shredded beef cooked in tomato sauce with peppers and onion; lechón asado, classic Cuban-style marinated roasted pork; Sergio’s vegetarian paella, a traditional saffron rice dish served with asparagus, mushrooms, bell peppers, sweet plantains and Caribbean avocados; or filete de pollo al ajillo, half of a chicken roasted and marinated in garlic citrus mojo.
