Havana 1920, located at 548 Fifth Ave., and El Chingon, located at 560 Fifth Ave., have reopened with a la carte and family-style dishes, as well as beer, wine and cocktails. Orders are available for takeout or delivery.


Signature cocktails available at both restaurants include: El Chingon Madero, made with tequila, house-made watermelon, cordial, lime and Tajín; Havana Daiquiri, made with rum, fresh lime juice and fresh sugarcane syrup; and Prohibition Old Fashioned, a combination of rye whiskey, demerara and bitters.

Havana 1920:
Made to feed parties of two or four, Havana 1920’s family meals include the choice between Ropa Vieja, shredded beef in tomato sauce with pepper and onions; or lechon asado, classic Cuban marinated and roasted pork. Each meal comes with black beans, white rice and Cuban bread. The family pack for two is priced at $35 and the family pack for four is priced at $60.
A menu of signature Havana 1920 selections are available to order a la carte, and include empanada of the day; yuca fries, yuca root lightly fried and served with mojo criollo and Havana Royale sauce; and ropa vieja sandwich, Cuban-style shredded beef topped with Swiss cheese, peppers, onions and tomato sauce on Cuban bread.

El Chingon:
Made to feed parties of two or four, El Chingon’s family meals include the choice between cheese, shredded chicken and beef enchiladas served with guacamole and Mexican citrus cream; or Bad Ass fajitas, choice of meat with onions and bell peppers served with guacamole, chiles toreados, rice, beans and tortillas. The enchiladas family pack is priced at $40, while the fajitas family pack for two is priced between $32-56 and $60-109 for four depending on the protein selected. A selection of tacos, burritos, enchiladas and Bad Ass fries are available to order a la carte, and include al pastor tacos, marinated and slowly-cooked pork shoulder with grilled pineapple, pickled onion, cilantro, avocado cream and salsa verde; carnitas tacos with pickled red onion, cilantro, avocado cream and salsa verde; California burrito filled with carne asada, loaded fries, guacamole, pico de gallo, Mexican citrus cream and Chingon cheese blend; Bad Ass Fries, shoestring potatoes topped with Chingon cheese blend, avocado cream, jalapeños, Mexican citrus cream, pico de gallo, guacamole and choice between pollo asado, carnitas, al pastor, carne asada and grilled shrimp; among others.
El Chingon has also created bottle packages to order, which include choice of spirit and mixers with a family-style meal that includes eight tacos and Bad Ass Fries.
